About Me

Welcome to The Daily Dish! My name is Shari, and I have been living in Chicago for around two and a half years. I started this blog a few months after I moved to this new, fabulous city, as a way to capture my thoughts on all of my experiences. I am a major foodie and love trying new restaurants and recipes, so that is a lot of what you can expect to see here, but it definitely doesn't stop there. This is a space where I can write about any and all things I love, and I do. Please join me on my daily adventures of all of my latest and greatest finds. I promise you won't be disappointed.

And, if you are looking to know just a little bit more about me, here are some of the important facts:

I grew up in sunny South Florida with one older brother, and two of the most amazing parents a girl could ask for.

I lived in Ft. Lauderdale my whole life until college when I moved to Orlando and attended the University of Central Florida (Go Knights!).

During college, I spent a summer abroad in Madrid (a MUST see!).

After four of the best years of my life, I graduated with my BA in Psychology and decided that I wanted to continue on and get my Master's in Mental Health Counseling. After a few years of grad school, I realized Psych wasn't for me. After a lot of difficult decision making, I decided to move on (literally) to my next dream, and moved to Boston.

Boston is where I began my new career path in Finance/Accounting for a marketing company, and is how I got to where I am now - the amazing city of Chicago!

I don't plan on leaving here any time soon, but you never know what the future will bring. Life is full of surprises, so please join me on my journey, and don't forget to say hi!
