Eye Candy: Slow Cooker

With my recent hectic schedule at work (and life in general), I've been trying to use my slow cooker as much as possible in hopes to come home from work with dinner all set and ready to go (and eat!). I have to be honest and say that I have not been using it as much as I want to, but I've recently bookmarked a bunch of new recipes I'm hoping to try which gave me the inspiration for today's eye candy

Do you have a slow cooker favorite? Please share. Links are much appreciated!

My favorite is a Turkey Chili:
1 lb. ground turkey
1 med. onion chopped
1 15 oz. tomato sauce
1 lg. can of diced tomatoes
1 15 oz can chili beans in sauce
1 15 oz black beans (undrained)
1 15 oz can chickpeas (undrained)
2-3 tbsp chili powder (to taste)
1 tbsp cumin
1/2 tbsp garlic powder
salt & pepper to taste

brown turkey with onions, drain. Then combine all ingredients in crockpot and cook on low 6-8 hours or on high for 4!

good stuff :)
