This week has been quite crazy. And to think, it's only a four day work week for me. Sometimes those extra paid holidays really do come back to bite you. I had a bunch of new recipes, restaurant reviews, and more eye candy posts in mind for this week, but sometimes life gets in the way. What I have for you today instead is one of my latest book club reads that I couldn't help but pass along.

You HAVE to go pick yourself up a copy of this book. It's a great one. Of course the title alone makes me wish I was anywhere else (read: Paris), especially this week. While a good portion of this book does take place in Paris, this book is about so much more. It's about relationships and real life issues that may face all of us in one way or another. There was one part of the book (about 100 pages in) when I felt like the book just slowed down, but then it picked right back up again and I couldn't put it down. Who knew Ernest Hemingway's life with his first wife could be so captivating? It certainly drew me in, and I think it will keep you entertained as well.
Have you read The Paris Wife? What'd you think?

Some weeks are just like that. For some reason this week has been crazy for me, too! At least it's getting closer to the weekend...
And I've been wanting to read that book for a month or two now. Maybe I'll pick up a copy this weekend. I've heard such good things about it!
SO umm yeah I totally forgot about goign to BC.....UGGH! I didn't like the book, in fact i think i still have 30 pages left. It was too slow moving for me, the ebs and flows were to far in between for me to stay interested. I can't wait for next month!
I was listening to it on tape and it was NOT helping with the commute at all...it got so damn slow. maybe I quit around what would have been page 100? I switched to Grace but maybe I'll go back and try to finish it!
